I've wanted a pair of tabis for nearly 13 years, but like most people couldn't afford Margielas lol. Then I found these! And let me tell you these are beautifully crafted, and I expect them to last a lifetime easily. Perfect fit, incredibly comfortable and obviously so cute. There's some stiffness around the ankle but as expected with unbroken leather! I can't wait to see how these distress over time. Will be buying another color way!

I rarely write reviews, but if my input seals the deal for one other buyer, maybe on the fence about the quality, comfort, or fit, I’m down to post my experience. The first night out was rough, I’ll be honest. I worried I had purchased a size too small, even with deliberate and accurate measuring. I knew better than to wear them out for more than a few hours, so I gradually broke them in over a few days. They are now my most comfortable shoe in my rotation. The horse leather is so dynamic, with unique creases here and there, and a sheen to die for. I get compliments every single time I go anywhere. So happy I decided to take a leap, and to purchase high quality, handmade shoes for my first pair of Tabis.
all in the title; the leather is butter-soft and the shoe is incredibly comfortable to walk around in. no need to drop the $$ needed for margielas; if I ever need more tabis or different tabi styles, I'm coming back to woodchuck!!
also customer service was really lovely; they reached out ahead of time to let me know about a modification to the sole of the shoes and asked for confirmation before sending the order.
