How many years you have run the business?

WoodchuckSato started the small tabi shoes business in 2020 on Etsy, it's has been so hard to run the business because of the COVID-19 and finance crisis. There were so many times that our tiny studio was going to close down. We cannot afford to buy the raw materiel and pay for the rent (Even though we were almost broke, but we still keep making shoes by ourselves with our quality and standard instead of turn into dropshipping). With the trust and support from customers, we survived. And we really value and appreciate it! We are expert in making tabi split--toe shoes, and our 99% products are split-toes shoes. Now we still keep out high-quality and always improving our products. There were some customers said that our shoes is made of plastic..... I don't know what to say, cause I buy leather materiel by myself, I never ever buy plastic, and I don't know either how plastic can make a shoes🤔 There were some vegan customers came to us that looking for fake leather or non-leather Tabi shoes, I said to them unfortunately that we only have REAL leather product, if it were really plastic, I will definitely let them place the order then. But it is not!

Can I buy your products on Amazon, eBay, or other marketplaces?

No, Woodchucksato.com is our only official store. We do not sell on any other platform. Be cautious of third-party sellers claiming otherwise.

How many people work in your studio?

Now, there are three customer services staffs work in our service email, chat inbox, support email, and Instagram. I require our staff to reply to the message in 24 hours (expect Sunday) to customers to offer the best customer service. So please be a bit patient if they didn't reply to the message immediately. They even work on Saturday. I always guide them to try their best to help our customers!

Absolutely not!!! At WoodchuckSato, we pride ourselves on being the complete opposite of a dropshipping operation. And we hate it! We are the maker, so we know that our products only offer to ourselves our brand! I checked other dropshipping store selling tabis, their selling price is not as our cost (this shocked me). And I don't know how is it possible?! Our commitment is to authenticity, quality, and craftsmanship, not quick profits or mass-manufactured goods.

Our company is based in Singapore after relocating from the UK due to high costs and VAT. We maintain a warehouse in China/Hong Kong to offer reasonable shipping rates and inclusive tax benefits for our customers. This allows us to provide free shipping without compromising the integrity of our products. Every pair of shoes we offer is handcrafted in our own studio, adhering to our strict quality standards.

There have been misconceptions that our products are similar to those found on platforms like AliExpress. Let us be clear: any resemblance is superficial at best. Our designs, materials, and photographs are exclusive to WoodchuckSato. Our studio produces shoes solely for our brand, and we have no affiliations with AliExpress. If some choose to believe otherwise, they are welcome to search elsewhere; however, they won’t find our unique products there.

Our shoes are crafted from 100% genuine leather. We committed to using the finest materials, not synthetics, which means we can’t cater to vegan customers with these products. We use a hybrid outsole with a rubber layer to enhance durability and wearability, moving away from full-leather soles for improved functionality.
