This style was previously made with sheep leather. However, based on customer feedback and our own wear tests, we found that sheep leather—while soft—is more prone to wear and tear. To improve durability and longevity, we've upgraded this design to use high-quality cow leather instead. It offers a similar look and feel, with enhanced strength for everyday wear. As we are still in the process of transitioning materials, there is still a chance you may receive the original sheep leather version. Thank you for your understanding.

These tabis are beautiful soft leather and the quality is great for the price! Don’t listen to the trolls on TikTok saying they aren’t real leather because they absolutely are! I have Margiela tabi boots and the quality is honestly not that different. I initially ordered a size up which turned out to be too big and so I reordered in my usual size and they fit perfectly. Love these shoes and will definitely order a different style of tabis from here in future.
I measured my foot to get the right size, they felt like they were tight at first but after doing 10k+ steps in them they are absolutely fine. They go with everything and they are well made.
I absolutely love these! I wear an an 8.5 and went with the 39 and they fit perfect.
At first I was concerned that I should've had sized up but then I got to walk with them a bit and break them in, so the size ended being totally fine. Maybe just a half a size up would've been perfect, but otherwise all good. The tabis survived my 20k steps a day Paris weekend trip so I have no complaints overall :) Also they arrived in 2 weeks to Estonia which was just perfect to receive them before my trip
