Not everything should be rushed. Our Tabi shoes aren’t the result of trends or mass production, they’re the product of patience, process, and a deep respect for form.
The Tabi design has deep roots. Originally worn in Japan for balance, agility, and connection to the ground. At WoodchuckSato, we don’t copy heritage, we honour it. Clean lines, high-quality materials, and forms that work in modern wardrobes.
Every pair is built in a small workshop, no assembly lines, no mass production. We work closely with our team to ensure consistency and care, from the first leather cut to the final outsole. Each shoe is handled by human hands, stitched slowly, and inspected with the kind of attention machines can’t replicate.
We use natural materials, especially full cow leather for the upper and lining. Our soles are custom-designed hybrid constructions: part leather, part rubber, chosen for wearability without compromising aesthetic.
Designed slowly, made deliberately, and built to be worn. This is how we do things at WoodchuckSato. One pair at a time.
